Based on an open call for submissions, the Quaderns Observatory is a compilation of recent work and activities developed by COAC members, as well as a means to spread the latest professional activities.
On a site marked strongly by its proximity to the highway linking Girona and France, we were to construct a building of 10,000 m2 of roof. While unable to transform the urban spaces around the building, the design seeks to establish a dialogue between the user and the environment, dispersed and diverse .
A center without references, pioneer in Europe, which incorporates the knowledge of the CRAM to obtain a few facilities that allow to develop in an effective way three basic lines of action of the foundation: for one side the clinic and rescue of marine species; the tasks of conservation, investigation and training.

The building has a porous concrete structure, which generates an introverted, calm and cosy atmosphere. Exterior and interior are intertwined and create exterior reading spaces and interior meeting spaces, approaching the new library to the citizens.

This modestly-sized park is located in the neighborhood surrounding Plaça Catalunya, a very dense neighborhood of Manresa, lacking in greenery. With the proposed topographic configuration, and especially with the location of the most characteristic park structures (the umbracles and pergolas), the goal is to split the park and visually distinguish these elements.
The proposal provides an L-shaped site that forms a courtyard with the pre-existing building. This is an intermediate space that links the library, lobby and extension.
The goal of the study is to raise awareness among citizens of the role they play and to define implementation guidelines that will help the planners.
The intervention was to appear minimal, more an operation to occupy hollow space, to empty and fill it again, replacing the deteriorated terrace, creating multi-use spaces, and using the roof as a play area that separates the children by age.
